Massacre in India or the U.S.? The choice is yours.

If the massacre in India says anything, it’s this; there are still people around the world that want US dead.

The terrorists in India went through the guest registry and passports and took down the room numbers of Westerners. That was their target; Americans and anyone else who is an ally.

These are the same people, meeting in locations all over the world, planning the next 9/11. The difference is; they want the next event to be on a much grander scale. The more dead Americans or Europeans or Aussies or U.K citizens; the better.

The problem is that just as the murderers remind us of their ultimate quest once again, we have an administration entering the White House who doesn’t take this kind of event very seriously.

The supporters of the Obama administration are more interested in ending the ability to intercept the communications of these nuts, and releasing most of them from incarceration, than protecting us.

There is no doubt that come January 20th, we will all be in more danger. Al Qaida must be frothing at the mouth and rubbing its collective hands together even now. Finally, an America that will let her guard down.

What we know about the situation in Mumbai India right now; 195 dead, including as many as six Americans. Several hundred others severely injured. This is the face of terrorism; death and destruction. Do you want this kind of terrorist event there or here; the question is yours.

I don’t want it anywhere, but if we ignore the role intelligence plays in protecting us, then we buy into the civil rights argument as we watch untold numbers of Americans die. When you’re dead, you have no civil rights anymore.

As we release the prisoners we have incarcerated during the war on terror, they return to the theater of battle to plan the deaths of more innocent Americans. Can you imagine the Indian police arresting the perpetrators of the mayhem there and then releasing them in a year or two? No doubt, there would be further loss of innocent life.

A terrorist group calling itself Deccan Mujahideen has taken responsibility for the mayhem in Mumbai. Officials in India believe that the attack could have emanated from Pakistan. The bottom line is that Muslim militants carried off the attack, just as they have murdered innocents around the world.

America is in their crosshairs and an unprepared Obama administration, made up of pro-terrorists activists, will be running the show. We are fortunate to have Robert Gates in a critical position for the first year of the new administration, but it is unlikely that he will get any cooperation with his edicts. More likely, his new colleagues will fight him tooth and nail.

What we are left with is vulnerability. An enemy, sworn to annihilate us, is working feverishly to accomplish their mission and our national defense will be let down soon. Once an attack is successful, it is too late. Must as in Mumbai at this hour, there will be people asking; what could we have done to prevent this?
