The end of Live, Breathe and Die

UPDATE: The truth lives on for yet another day. If you have been a loyal reader of Live, Breathe and Die, or have been a blogger linking to this blog, stay tuned.

After 5 years as a standalone domain and two or three years as a WordPress-based blog, Live, Breathe and Die will soon be retiring. On June 20th to be exact. The blog has always been well-researched and every post has been the result of checking and cross-checking reliable sources for non-biased reporting and information.

This post is the 249 article for Live Breathe and Die as a stand-alone blog. There were probably a hundred during the blog’s WordPress-hosted days. This blog was cast into controversy during the University of Oregon student newspaper fiasco and produced numerous articles leading up to the November 2008 presidential election. It has had tens of thousands of readers in the interim. The readership and the numbers of other conservative blogs linking to Live Breathe and Die have decreased significantly in the past year. Very few new posting have been added in that time.

The win by the current administration has taken the country in a decidedly difficult and painful direction. This blog warned voters prior to the elections in 2008 that the socialist agenda and the pay-offs to special interests would hurt the country. The billions spent in pay-offs to the organizations and individuals that swept this administration into office could have been better spent to create jobs and bolster the economy. Instead, the country was thrown into a deep recession that will be the precursor to a lengthy depression.

To the millions of unemployed workers who had jobs in 2007, I can only tell you that I tried to sound a warning. The lady in Grant Park on the night of the Obama victory celebration had it right………….for some people, everything will be paid for. She knew confidently what many voters never suspected. Those people only saw the word “change,” and assigned to it their own meaning.

Jumping to the Wrong Conclusion

“People who knew Loughner described him as a Pot-smoking loner.” One friend interviewed by local news said “he hung around with anti-social kids, always wore black and spent most of his time with kids with lots of piercings.”

Another local Democrat politician in Tucson, during an interview today, suggested that the shooter must be a Tea Party person. Now we know that the true shooter was the polar opposite of a Tea Party participant and indeed a lifestyle much more in line with an anarchist or progressive. Like most liberals, the Tucson politician, Lopez, jumped to erroneous, biased statements that were far off base and irresponsible.

Although they are the constant targets of a liberal press, those with the Tea Party movement have proven to be one of the most peaceful, respectful groups in the country, contradicting the false, malicious labels and accusations that are slung their way. Today’s tragic events exposed one more example of that erroneous stereotyping.

Keep the victims of today’s tragic events in your prayers and thoughts.
