The left complains about China’s human rights violations and censorship.

Reality: Nearly all of the investment funds funneled into China since the eighties has come from liberal organizations. Some of the biggest venture capital and private equity firms in the U.S. are run by liberal affiliates and supporters of the democratic party.

These venture capital firms have been pumping hundreds of millions of dollars into China for more than twenty-years. They are located in Silicon Valley, San Francisco and Boston. The fact that they are liberal organizations has remained under the radar screen for years. Just another example of liberal hypocrisy.

I just read an essay on the left-wing DailyKos that shows how vulnerable we are in the U.S. if the left gets in power. As a mater of fact; you can kiss your ass good-bye.

I began to write a comment about the article, but realized that all the comments I have submitted on The Huffington Post have been moderated out. If you ever look at the long lists of comments on either web site, you will notice that there is no varying opinions. Those allowed to post must be in total agreement with the unsupported opinion of the writer.

With no way to present an educated opinion on the subject of wire-taps and the decision the Senate just made, the only recourse is posting on my own blog. This is what I wanted to say:

This essay is enormously flawed. It makes accusations without ever taking a moment to consider the foolishness of those accusations.

First of all, the President has no reason to be listening in on U.S. citizens. What profit or what motive does he have; what substantial evidence do you have that he does this or has any motivation to do it? Do you have evidence that would stand up in court beyond the fact that you have a maniacal hatred of the man?

Secondly, what plan do you have to prevent the next 9/11? The answer is that the left has no plan. Under a left-wing administration, it is almost certain that tens of thousands, if not millions of Americans will lose their lives because our guard will have been dropped.

The naive nature of those who read The Daily Kos and The Huffington Post is to believe that we can simply drop our guard. You never stop to think that the terrorists have been prevented from further attacks since 2001. They have certainly tried and conspired, but our intelligence and electronic surveillance has prevented more American bloodshed.

If your family is killed in the next terrorist attack, and it turns out that electronic surveillance would have saved them, you still won’t get it. The Democratic leadership and the Democratic presidential candidate will leave us open to attack, defenseless and dead.

Your essay claims that Barack Obama and a group of Democratic Senators will overturn the decision made today. That is very likely. Then, because of baseless claims that the president uses this technology to spy on Americans, you will leave us all open to a horrendous death.

You are the same people who tried to blow up the military recruiting station in NY City. You are the same people who defaced the military recruiting station in Berkeley and ordered the military out of the city. You are the same hypocrites who then demand that we bring our military home. Is it because you love the troops all of a sudden, or you want to give more leeway to the terrorists? One has to wonder. (end of comment)

The Senate approved the changes to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act on a 69-28 vote. 23 brave Democrats crossed the aisle to declare that national security is more important than kowtowing down to the extreme left who would leave us in peril.

The surveillance in question is actually data-mining calls pointed outside the U.S. to areas of intense Al Qaida concentration. It is not monitoring of domestic calls as the far left has alleged. Their mission is to deceive Americans who don’t know better and believe such tripe as fact.

We endanger ourselves by giving control of our country to these misguided, delusional lunatics. Their world is immersed in hyperbole, conjecture, urban-myth and hearsay. In their minds, these things all represent fact. They are oddly aligned with the terrorists who seek to annihilate us. They both see America as the enemy.

It’s time to divide the United States into two or three provinces or prefectures based on ideology. If we don’t, the U.S. will cease to exist as a great and respected country.

It has often been said that the more extreme ideologies exist on the coasts, with the middle of the country populated by more moderate viewpoints. There is certainly an extreme left in the U.S., although they can be found in more places than just the coastal regions. The left is now a controlling influence in places like Minneapolis, Denver, Detroit, Santa Fe and Atlanta as well as the more established bastions of Seattle, San Francisco, New York and Boston.

There is a growing divide in the country that threatens to undo the very building blocks of America’s heritage and we may have to segment the country based on ideology to preserve what we have left.

The extreme left is growing in numbers because of the social engineering that is practiced daily in public schools, the music industry, pop culture, Hollywood and the vast majority of the content on the World Wide Web. Young people are almost universally liberal, and most often, radically liberal. Their viewpoints and their reliance on government to be the universal provider of all services, flies in the face of the principles of our founders.

To bring harmony to the nation and to preserve the heritage that made America great, we need to separate the population into regions that are self-governing, self-financed and self-regulated. Because there are more conservatives in the southern states and mid-section of the country, we should give the west coast and many of the western states to the left. Southern California, which is more conservative, from Orange County south, can join those east of New Mexico in the conservative portion of the country.

This proposal holds many benefits beyond the economic stimulus that will be created in the moving industry, the housing industry, the building industry and state treasuries.

Liberals can do whatever they want once they relocate to their region of the country. They can make gay marriage universal within the region. They can outlaw Christians and recognize atheism as an official religion. They can set up their own foreign policy and establish special diplomatic relations with the heads of Iran, Syria, North Korea and Zimbabwe. They can use Winnie the Pooh as an official example of strategic thinking in foreign policy discussions. They can form a separate government that is responsible for all human, environmental, health, animal and regulatory services. They can switch to a flat tax that is voluntary, but is set at 50%. They get total control of the pornography and movie industries as well as the grocery tabloids and computer game industry.

Those who are libertarian or members of the green party can have the northeast. They can self-govern and remove any incursion by authority into the lives of those living in the region. They can also shut down all industry which might be responsible for pollution. If they wish, they can self-regulate also and make all drugs legal in the region. They can check with the left-coast region for guidance.

What remains, in the middle of the country and the south, will be populated by conservatives. They can vote to retain the original purpose of the constitution and other founding documents. They can find a balance between industry and nature and respect both. They will keep recreational drugs illegal and can choose to limit government except for protection against terrorism and infrastructure. Since the left-coast region will open its border with Mexico, the conservative region will need a method for checking citizenship at its western border. In that regard, the conservative region will need to become a sovereign nation. Those who respect the constitution can become judges in the conservative region and Christians will be given the rights of all other religions.

Because most young people will move to the two coastal regions, the conservative region will need to invite young people from other countries who have conservative ideals to become permanent residents and citizens of their new nation. These young people will have to have a real understanding of the amount of thought that went into the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. They should also understand the founder’s purpose and rationale for each document and its intended use. They will be required to get an unbiased, non-partisan education that teaches them who the founders were, what their beliefs were and what their true intentions were.

Regions that fail in tax collection, food production, crime prevention or healthcare will not be able to demand those resources from the other regions. Each region will be fully independent and will only share a common border. The conservative region will be allowed to build large bomb shelters and bunkers since they will be the only region taking terrorism seriously. There will be no defense against terrorism on the east or west coasts, since it may violate the privacy of residents in those regions.

The region that is home to the libertarians can be called the ‘Whatever You Want States’. The region that is home to the liberals can be called ‘Obama Utopia’. The region that is populated by conservatives will remain; ‘The United States of America’.

Today, a guy I really loved, died. Tim Russert was a humble person. You could tell that he had a solid core, even if you only watched him on TV. He was a genuine person, who was always smiling and who treated his television guests fairly.

Tim’s focus was family. He thoroughly enjoyed his Irish-Catholic roots and kept his focus on his family. He was an amazingly grounded person for someone who could have easily had his head in the clouds. He was a regular guy. Buffalo New York was lucky to have him as a son and he never forgot his origins.

NBC somehow put together a program commemorating Tim’s life tonight. As distasteful as it would be for most people, they took the opportunity to take edited clips of Tim’s interviews with politicians to make some Democrats look good and some Republicans look bad. I was incredulous that they would play politics on such a solemn occasion.

Tim Russert would not have played politics in a similar situation. His background was in Democratic politics. He had a law degree and had been former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo’s press secretary and the one-time chief of staff to the late Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan. Despite his partisan background, he was fair and non-judgemental on his national political show; Meet the Press. He did his research and confronted his guests with questions that were well thought out.

Watching ABC’s coverage of Russert’s death and their tribute to him, the same opportunism for political gain was used. They played an interview with Vice President Cheney that he did at the beginning of the Iraq war. They showed the VP predicting that the war would not drag on for long. They could have shown the Vice President’s subsequent visits where he admitted to being wrong. They could have shown the close, light-hearted relationship the Vice President had with Russert, but they instead chose one 20-second clip to use in an election year for partisan reasons. Tim Russert would have been disgusted.

On the late night show hosted by Conan O’Brian, a show devoted to comedy, O’Brian started it on a somber note. He knew Tim Russert personally and had for 15 years. Like everyone who knew Tim personally, O’Brian had nothing but praise and good memories of the political newsman. This seemed to be a recurring theme throughout the day. Most people described Tim Russert as the opposite of pompous. He was not full of himself at all.

How does a guy who loved life, loved his job and loved his family die at 58? How does his elderly dad accept the fact that the son he was so close too, predeceased him? How does his wife and son understand that he passed a stress test successfully just two months before and now he is gone? There will be a lot of people who loved this guy who just can’t believe he is gone.

Tim Russert possessed all of the qualities that more people should have. We was a workaholic, but he balanced work and family. He was incredibly smart and wise, yet practiced enormous humility and graciousness. He considered himself blessed that he had the job he had and colleagues remembered that he could not contain his enthusiasm at times about that fact. He was even a devout Catholic and promised friends he would pray for them if they were facing medical problems.

His son Luke just graduated from Boston College. For Luke, Father’s Days will be a tough time each year. Father’s Day is on Sunday. For many, it will be the first Sunday in 17 years without their friend Tim Russert.

Today in Phoenix Arizona, members of the AFL-CIO protested outside Sen. McCain’s office. Their claim is that Sen. McCain and President Bush are so cozy with big oil that they would hurt the American people to do favors for their alleged friends. The problem is, the protest has been orchestrated by the Democratic Party and has no basis in fact.

Let’s review the fundamentals of their claim and the background of the organization which these protestors belong too. As is the case with so many other ‘news events’, this one is right out of the Democratic playbook.

The AFL-CIO has an anti-McCain booklet and links to many left-wing organizations right on their web site. Even back in 1997, they spent $35 million on an anti-GOP House freshman election campaign.

A study done by a Rutgers University economics professor in 1996 found that labor unions provided the Democratic Party with $300 million to $500 million that year. Groups like the AFL-CIO have an arms-length ideological relationship with the Democratic Party that is very questionable at best. Their protests do not really provide a voice for middle-class workers, but instead are designed to create negative press for Republicans and get Democrats elected. Protests against Republicans under the guise of middle-class representation are designed to fool as many people as possible.

The term ‘smoke and mirrors’ is very appropriate here and the ‘protest’ outside McCain’s office may define this term better than anything else could. News organizations will give voice to the ‘protestors’ carrying their anti-Republican, anti-McCain message to millions of TV news viewers, newspaper readers and internet blog junkies. The pro-Democratic, anti-Republican message will have reached these large numbers of voters for free. The strategy doesn’t cost the Democrats anything and they have willing participants in the form of AFL-CIO members who are as much as operatives.

Even in 1996, the AFL-CIO had 2000 ‘political activists’ in the field training tens of thousands of protestors to do the bidding of their leadership’s ideology. That ideology aligned with the Democratic Party and did not cost the Democrats a dime of campaign funds because the expenditures were the unions. Campaign finance still does not solve this ‘end-around’ tactic used by the Democrats to sway votes.

The net result of these ‘protests’ are always predictable. Their accomplices in the local media will perpetuate their message without questioning its authenticity. In the days ahead, the Arizona Republic (whether feature or editorial page) will delight in the opportunity to give bad press to Sen. McCain and the Republicans. The union protest will provide the perfect fodder for pages of pro-Democratic Party propaganda.

Other organizations walk in lock-step with the AFL-CIO as front organizations for the Democratic Party. The NEA gives millions of dollars to the Democrats every election cycle and throws a few token dollars at the Republicans. NEA publications are rife with anti-Republican, pro-Democrat articles.

AARP portrays itself as a non-partisan organization with the interests of seniors as its mission. A review of its two primary publications from the past five years paints a very different picture. As recent examples, the June 2008 issue of the AARP Bulletin had a cover story entitled, ‘What’s age got to do with it’? One would assume that a ‘non-partisan’ organization that supports the rights of older Americans would certainly celebrate the experience of Senator McCain. My guess is that if he were a Democrat that would be the case. Instead, the bulletin provided a couple of paragraphs giving their own antidotal reasons for McCain’s age benefits. Most of the article though, was geared towards casting doubt about voting for someone who will be 72 at election time.

AARP also publishes a bi-monthly called The AARP Magazine. They bill the publication as the ‘world’s largest circulation magazine’. They must be certain that the magazine will influence a lot of people. Most issues feature a Hollywood celebrity on the cover.

The May/June 2008 issue had two cover stories that celebrated Democrats. One was called ‘1968-The year that rocked our world’. The article touches on every liberal talking point known to exist. They begin by reciting the evils of our military and recite the story of the My Lai massacre. They praise Oliver Stone. They extol Walter Cronkite for questioning success in Vietnam. They cover the assassination of Bobby Kennedy. They then paint Tom Hayden and Mark Rudd as American heroes for participating in the Chicago and Columbia University protests of that year. The article then goes on the hail the activist work of Kathie Sarachild (protestor at ’68 Miss America Pageant) and Tommie Smith, who looked down at the ground and raised his fist during the playing of the National Anthem at the ’68 Olympics. The whole 12 page article celebrates the liberal activists of that year and provides no balance.

On the web site for the Committee On Political Education, Communications Workers of America (CWA-COPE), they advertise an anti-McCain booklet created by the AFL-CIO. Their web site states, ‘The AFL-CIO, announced on Wednesday(should be Thursday), March 12, 2008 a $53.4 million campaign to denounce Sen. McCain’s political positions on issues related to AFL-CIO members, hoping to elect a Democrat to the White House’. The site’s ‘news and opinion’ page lists a number of far left-wing blogs with links for their membership. This is the reality of union influence and a lack of balance.

Other groups like the United Mine Workers and Sheetmetal Workers, who are affiliated with the AFL-CIO, believe that the organization stands for American workers and families. They never stop to consider that Republicans cut their taxes providing thousands of dollars for each family to buy food, transportation and clothing. Middle class workers used to have to work until June each year just to pay the government. What has the Democratic Party done recently to benefit those same middle-class Americans?

During the Johnson administration, congress passed a law that required unions to file financial reports under the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act. What they excluded from the law was any requirement to identify expenditures that were political in nature. The first president Bush issued an executive order requiring the filing of the missing information. This was near the end of his term as president. When Bill Clinton took office, he immediately voided the new requirement. Unions like the AFL-CIO could continue their substantial monetary and manpower support of the Democrats covertly.

Twenty-one years ago today (June 12), President Ronald Reagan gave his famous speech instructing Mikhail Gorbachev to “tear down this wall”. That was the beginning of the end of the cold war and changed much of the world for the better. In 1861, another Republican President, Abraham Lincoln, pronounced to a young country that slavery was not acceptable. The next four years was the beginning of the end of slavery. In both cases, Republican Presidents, unafraid of their detractors, changed history for the better.

When Republicans have done so much for Americans, why do organizations like the AFL-CIO do so much to destroy them? Because; Democrats do so much for unions.

Barack Obama friend and associate Antoin (Tony) Rezko was just found guilty on Wednesday by a federal jury of 16 counts, including fraud, money laundering and bribery. The real estate developer has often been credited with raising the funds for Mr. Obama that helped propel his career.

Sen. Obama claimed in an interview that “this isn’t the Tony Rezko I knew”. Sen. Obama has had a 20 year relationship and friendship with Mr. Rezko. Obama made the same claim when the public learned of the anti-Americanism and racism that is deeply ingrained in Obama’s friend and mentor; Jeremiah Wright.

If it seems that there is a pattern here, there is. Barack Obama uses poor judgement in picking his friends and associates. What is worse, these friends may simply reflect the person that Obama actually is. People with similar personality traits are often attracted to others like themselves. Had Mr. Rezko been a Republican supporter and fundraiser, this story would be front page news on every paper in the country.

Worse yet, Mr. Rezko’s crimes have tied him indelibly to Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, a democrat. Mr. Rezko raised $1.4 million for Mr. Blagojevich and $250,000 for Barack Obama. There are several federal investigations ongoing of Mr. Blagojevich.

In addition to providing funding to Mr. Obama, Tony Rezko was involved in a scheme to divert teachers pension investments to firms that would provide kickbacks. He was also able to push a health board into approving a new hospital so he could get a cut from the contractor’s bribe. Rezko’s take- $3.9 million.

The irony of all this is the campaign waged by the Democrats in recent years to paint the Republican Party as having a ‘culture of corruption’. When real investigations occur and real evidence is presented though, it is the Democrats who operate in a true culture of bribes, kickbacks, questionable vote tampering and hidden money trails.

There is the friendship and association between Barack Obama and William Ayers also. This gets little press and is conveniently glossed over by the press. William Ayers was a member of the radical domestic terrorist group; The Weather Underground. Dr. Quentin Young, a prominent Chicago physician, remembers being at Mr. Ayers home with another Ayers friend, Barack Obama. He characterized the two as ‘friends’.

During the sixties, The Weather Underground was responsible for 25 bombings. They were also responsible for the killing of a Brinks guard and two New York State Troopers during the robbery of a Brinks truck. In 2001, William Ayers told the New York Times, “I don’t regret setting bombs; I feel we didn’t do enough”.

Barack Obama’s friendship with William Ayers has been seen on other occasions including when he complimented Ayers in a Chicago Tribune article in 1997. Obama and Ayers served together for three years on the board of the Woods Fund of Chicago.

More recently, Obama friend Father Michael Pfleger, has gained national attention with his anti-Hillary ranting’s. During a debate on gun control in Chicago, Father Pfleger is quoted as saying, “we’re gonna snuff out legislators who are voting against our gun laws and we’re coming for you because we are not going to sit idly”. His threat to kill Illinois legislators has been swept under the rug by the national media. This is another Obama friend.

Why would anyone with a conscious or a lick of common sense vote to put Barack Obama into the most powerful job in the world? Good question. He has made decisions, based on his extreme ideology to associate himself with a confirmed racist, an unrepentant domestic terrorist, a convicted money launderer and briber and an anti-white political preacher violating the governments ban on political speech at the pulpit. By extension, Mr. Obama’s association with Rev. Pfleger hints at his approval of anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, who is Pfleger’s close friend also.

When we elect a person to the highest position in the land, the least we expect is someone who uses good judgement in selecting their friends and associates. A lot can be learned about a person by the company they keep.

It’s time to rally around John McCain

We know who will be facing off in the general election now and it’s time to rally around Sen. John McCain. Senator McCain has really ticked me off at times. I have been in contact with his office on more than one occasion and the response I have received has not been what I wanted.

I am a conservative and a Republican and Sen. McCain does not walk in lock-step with others of my beliefs. As a matter of fact, he does not walk in lock-step with anyone. And that is why we need him in the White House.

There are few politicians who can claim that people of all ideologies are among their true constituents. John McCain stands out as a rare exception. He has worked together with some of the most liberal members of the Senate to write legislation. To the angst of people like me, he has teamed up with those on the other side of the aisle to get things done.

We really need someone as president who represents the largest cross-section of Americans. McCain is a man of the people.

Often called a maverick and often a thorn in the side of conservative Republicans, John McCain has endured tests of his character that few Americans can even imagine. He has been humble about those experiences, although he showed true heroism in the face of despair.

His opponent for the Oval Office has a voting record that one non-partisan record keeping organization called the most liberal in the United States Senate. His opponent has no history of reaching across the aisle to work with people of different viewpoints. His opponent has never faced character building adversity that would challenge a humans own will to live.

We have had few opportunities to vote for a person like John McCain for the highest office in the land. He has made himself available to reporters like few politicians. He has developed very real friendships with members of the other party. He has even worked to remove the worst forms of corruption from Washington politics. All the while, he has been gracious and shown a sense of humor and humility.

Although he has not always been willing to take up my conservative causes, he and his office have taken the time to answer my concerns.

He has survived torture and skin cancer and lived to campaign hard from one coast to the other. I only wish I had his stamina.

In November we will be faced with a choice. Vote for the new guy on the block who lacks experience but presents himself well in front of a crowd. Or, we can vote for the guy who allows his mind to explore other viewpoints, does not get caught up in ideology and represents the interests of all Americans.

It’s time to rally around John McCain. America deserves him and he will be good for America

Those in the insane asylum have been given the key, and they in return have locked the sane people inside. This is the state of our country today.

I am in the midst of making some serious plans to move to another country. I love America, but not the America of today and tomorrow. I love the America of yesterday. There are still countries that can recognize the difference between right and wrong and they do not let a vocal, extremist minority determine public policy. Those countries may find some new immigrants who are disenfranchised Americans.

New York has just leaked that it will recognize gay marriage. This, in addition to Massachusetts and California is only the beginning. They say that the more extremist behaviors manifest themselves on the coasts, but the agenda has already been set in motion. The extreme left, those who practice abnormal behavior, unnatural practices and perversions that were once recognized as sick, will impose their illness on all of America. The voice of the sane is already being snuffed out.

It was as recently as 2004 and 2005 that 18 states passed amendments to their state constitutions banning gay marriage. Many were passed by voters and many were passed by strong majorities. Judges stepped in and quickly began usurping the will of the people. In 2006, the Senate had the opportunity to put the issue to rest and vote to ban gay marriage nationally, but liberals stopped the vote before it could proceed.

Why do we have two sexes? Why do we have men and women? Why does it take two sexes, both with a unique physiology, to create a new human? These questions and their obvious answers are ignored by a growing segment of the population, most of whom are atheist or agnostic and who support same-sex marriage. Recent polls show that a clear majority of Democrats and a majority of independents support gay marriage.

Where does this leave America’s future? With a large percentage of teens adopting the gay and bi-sexual lifestyle as the norm, the numbers of gay and gay-friendly voters will explode in the next decade. The ideological social engineering that has been part of the public school experience and popular culture has turned a generation of young minds to mush. What is natural in the world is no longer considered or even pondered. Why do we have two sexes? That remains a question that a growing number of Americans don’t ask.

America’s future is bleak. What was once clearly understood as a perversion, as unnatural and even a mental illness is now being forced upon the collective conscious of Americans. Despite some of the lessons we learned during the early days of the AIDS/HIV epidemic, Americans are turning a collective blind-eye to reality. The fact that one in four teenage girls carries a sexually transmitted disease barely made the front page of newspapers around the country. It has since been forgotten.

Liberal ideas have a history of failure. The welfare state enslaved people. High taxes required middle-class Americans to work half the year just to pay the government. The unhinged sexual lifestyles of gays in San Francisco in the eighties led to an epidemic of AIDS deaths.

Nothing in politics or our culture that the left supports has been of benefit to America. Even their attempts to de-emphasize the importance of the traditional nuclear family has only increased the divorce rate, increased the national crime rate and resulted in more people requiring psychiatric care and led to more teen suicide.

I am sending some job applications to companies in other countries. This will be another victory for the radical left who will be successful at getting rid of one more person with morals. Why have a country with a moral core? It doesn’t serve their purpose or agenda. Rome reached the same point at one time and their hedonistic lifestyle was their downfall.

There has been recent scientific evidence that the story of Sodom and Gomorrah from the Bible was indeed factual. A growing portion of the American population will dismiss any notion that God destroyed the two cities that allowed untold perversions. They will conclude that it must have been a natural disaster.

As for me, I’m moving to another country. I don’t need to be around when those who were in the asylum run the country. They don’t have the ability or the need to question what is right or what is wrong, what is natural and what is perverse. I will read about America’s demise in a foreign newspaper.

Why is it that conservatives take the high road, even when it does not serve their purpose? Anyone who wants to challenge my premise has only to look at the web sites for the major networks and CNN and compare the selection of images to the Fox News web site.

It’s a graphic example of the difference in approach of the two ideologies.

I just realized today that Barack Obama is either so used to lying that he is willing to make insane statements or he is simple delusional.

Case in point, here are comments Obama made today.

“It’s very understandable that the press has focused on myself and Senator Clinton because it’s been a pretty exciting race,” Obama said. “The fact is that the press will submit him to the same scrutiny they are giving to me.”

“People will lift the hood and kick the tires with John McCain, just like they do with me,” he said,

Obama knows that he has not been held up to any real scrutiny during his campaign. Despite the fact that he has been best friends with his pastor for 20 years and his pastor is an anti-white racist and a separatist, Obama has suffered no fallout from the temporary controversy.

One never hears anything about Obama’s ties to a domestic terrorist who bombed several government buildings and said he would do it again. Does the press ever talk about Obama’s connection to an indicted criminal back in Chicago? Most Americans don’t even know the story.

So how is Obama scrutinized? The answer is; he isn’t. He has been allowed to go about his business and his campaign like a Teflon candidate. Nothing that has been discovered about him that would question his character, his associations or his judgment has stuck to him in any way. When something has been brought to public attention, it survives on the front page for only a day, or never rises to the importance of the front page to begin with. Obama’s surrogates in the national media make certain that he receives no critical scrutiny.

The Obama message is the same. Comprised of platitudes and promises of a radical new direction, the message is shallow and without merit. Obama relies on teleprompters to deliver a smooth, glib oratory, but in personal interviews, he is not quite as articulate.

The Obama message and platform rely on a ‘dumbing-down’ of the listening audience. The plan for this country’s future is based on a meaningless diatribe of fact less proposals and propositions. The audience howls in approval, never understanding the importance of entering the White House with a real, workable playbook based on realities and not platitudes.

What we need at this juncture is some real scrutiny of Barack Obama. He has received none. He has had a green light at every intersection, and no one is watching the traffic controllers.

If he thinks that anyone has ‘lifted the hood and kicked the tires’, then he is only fooling himself. If he really believes that this is the case, then we are putting someone who does not understand pressure in the White House. There will have been no test when he has to make important decisions that affect all of us.
