First, we are ALL AMERICANS
The politics of dividing Americans and setting them against each other based on class or race or ethnicity is deplorable. No other party in the history of our country has made more use of this strategy than the Democrat Party. The mouthpieces of the Democrat Party, the thousands of reporters and anchors around our nation, perpetuate this strategy by asking loaded questions and reporting events with their own ideological slant.
Kelly O’Donnell of NBC is just one of these foot soldiers who wants to put a spin on the facts to make them fit the Democrat mold. You can see this in the premise of her question to Tea Party attendee, Darryl Postell:
O’Donnell: “There aren’t a lot of African-American men at these events. Have you ever felt uncomfortable?”
The question assumes that the majority of people attending Tea Parties must be violent, intimidating racists who would recoil at the presence of an African-American in attendance. This assumption either finds its roots in Democrat Party strategy or is based on the sheer ignorance of the person asking the question.
I believe that Mr. Postell’s answer speaks volumes. It is brilliant in its simplicity and powerful message. It knocks the wind out of the reporter’s assumptions and underlying story-line. Mr. Postell see’s through the haze, the fog of propaganda and has found the truth for himself. Kudos to him.
