I was reading a far-left wing blog recently which has a large readership.  The blog talked about the left’s instructions to the Obama campaign that radical left winger Rahm Emanuel should be the White House chief of staff.  The blog bragged that Emmanuel would kick any journalists out of the White House press corps if they don’t report from a left-wing perspective.  We saw the Obama campaign do this with journalists traveling on their campaign plane.

You’ll remember that Emanuel was the guiding force behind the Citizenship USA scandal in 1996 in the Clinton White House.  The scam gave instant citizenship to thousands of illegals in preparation for the 1996 election. Emmanuel was involved in closed door, late-night meetings with operatives high up in INS. Harold Ickes, Emmanuel’s colleague was involved in the scam also.

From a 2006 Chicago Tribune article about Emanuel:

In a world where congressmen refer to each other as “my distinguished colleague,” Emanuel, 46, is sometimes unable to get through a single sentence without several obscenities……….his style is extremist. The top of his right middle finger was severed when he was a teenager, adding to his aura of toughness–especially when he extends that middle finger, which he does with some regularity.

It would appear that the national discourse will be reduced to the level of most on the extreme left; course, obtuse, abrasive,crass, unrefined, self-absorbed and narrow-minded. This is the ‘change’ that so many uninformed voters chose as a way to improve our country?

This is a sneak-peek at the intolerant, lock-step administration of BO. No differing voices will be allowed.  You either acquiesce, or you are out. It presents a real contrast to the Bush administration, who allowed reporters, nearly all of whom disagreed with Bush, to report from the White House.

The writer on the ‘progressive’ blog saw this as the right approach. We must realize, as Americans, that this foreshadows the deceptive, opaque administration about to take office and their compliant press corps. We will never really know the truth because the only message coming from the White House will be a portrayal of success and accomplishment.  Transparency will be lost.

Those being tapped for positions in the new administration do not differ from the ideology of BO in any sense. While the Bush White House retained many members from the Clinton White House, the Obama White House will be based solely on an ideological litmus test; much like the judges he will appoint.

What we know at this point, those chosen will come out of the most radical, extremist groups on the left.  Stodgy, gender-confused, Janet Napolatano from Arizona will join ultra-liberal Emmanuel in dictating the socialist agenda.  Elitist millionaire, John Kerry will find a place in the BO cabinet. (Kerry’s wife has worked on several left-wing projects with BO). Bill Richards and other liberals will find a place in the new White House. There will be no conservatives and no moderates.

This is our new president; not a person who will bring people together, except those with like minds. There will be no room for dissension, no room for fresh opinions or differing perspectives.

One thing is for sure now; with a democratic controlled Congress and democratic Executive Branch, anything that goes wrong in this country can be blamed on only one party.  There should be no more blaming everything that has gone amiss on President Bush and the Republicans.  Everything that goes wrong starting January 20, 2009 is the Democrats fault, no matter what the issue.

Chicago thugs like Rahm Emanuel will exercise underhanded practices in this new White House.  He will make sure that Republicans in the Congress don’t have any audience with the new president. He will act like a hatchetman and will be a divisive force.  His past occupation was digging up dirt on political opponents. This is the kind of personality that will be at the helm of our country.

Remember, in his acceptance speech, Barack Obama said that his administration would reach across the aisle and bring a spirit of cooperation to Washington. Just another lie that ran across the TelePrompTer that day. His henchmen have also gone after Joe Lieberman, who has not agreed to walk in lock step with the extreme left. This is not change anyone can believe in

What happens when a population receives one continuous, uninterrupted message day in and day out?  They believe it.

The influence of the media, both old and new, has provided an election result that would never happen in a culture where news outlets must report facts and delve into the backgrounds of all candidates equally. 

So many questions about Barack Obama; so many unanswered questions. There was never near enough information about Obama, but the image and the marketing trumped the real concerns, and the American public bit.

There it was, everywhere.  On ABC, NBC, CNN, PBS, MSNBC and CBS, and on every magazine cover and every newspaper; a continuous, non-stop commercial for Barack Obama.

When an Internet user went to check something on Snopes, they found 100% support for Obama and every concern about him was just an unfounded rumor.  When those same surfers went to Wikipedia, they found the same; Obama always portrayed with a flawless, uncontroversial background. 

Anything to the contrary was suppressed. Those readers referred to Factcheck as an unbiased source found more of the same.  The left-wing influence on nearly every major website praised this candidate as perfect in every way.  Everywhere the public looked, there was a single message; anything bad you hear about Obama is a smear.

If did not stop there.  When web users used the two primary search engines, they were greeted with an Obama commercial on both web site’s news pages.  Pro-Obama news items and anti-McCain stories.  No one asking important questions about Mr. Obama’s background, his associates or his ideology.

There was a suppressed minority of well-informed voters who were frustrated with the biased process. They had so many legitimate questions.  Why didn’t the Democratic Party vet their nominee?  How did Barack Obama ever get on the ballot without ever providing a legitimate birth certificate?  Why doesn’t the process have an agency that confirms the qualification of the candidates?  No one was stopping the progress of this swelling campaign and it seemed like a fright train that could not be stopped.

And that’s what it was.

Youtube featured thousands of contrived Obama videos.  There here hundreds more anti-McCain, anti-Palin videos, none based in fact, but all furthering the erroneous message smearing both. The electorate, the uninformed believed the videos, the newscasts, the newspapers and left-wing blogs.  They never bothered to ask the important questions.  This was brainwashing on a national scale.

A presidential candidate with friends who are the very people trying to kill us. Who would have thought they would see the day. A president who said he sought out Marxist professors. This is not what America is all about.

The electoral process has been hijacked. A large part of the electorate who never bothered to ask important questions, who didn’t care about the questions, elected an anti-American president.  A man who was not willing to share any information about his background. No education records, no birth records, no Illinois senate records, no medical records; nothing.

Many more people, who did not vote for Barack Obama realized the inherent danger he posed.  An unvetted, mystery person, close to members of Middle Eastern terrorist organizations, associated with a hate monger pastor, close friends with a domestic terrorist and an avowed socialist with extremist ideology.  We have never elected a person like this in our history; and with good reason.

Those who don’t utilize critical thought and who share the extremist ideology that will destroy America will rejoice.  Their ignorance put an enemy of America in the most powerful position in the world.  Any protection we enjoyed against terrorists will disappear. The defense of our country will be given little serious consideration and 9/11 will look like a walk in the park.

When we elected George Bush in 2000, there were a lot of people who didn’t like him, but at least we knew who he was.  We knew his history and we knew he governed the state of Texas.  He had executive management experience.  Not so now.

Enough Americans, those who would not listen to reason, those who would not open their ears to real concerns; they made a mistake.

So many people, so determined to put someone who is part African in the White House, did not see anything else.  They heard some slogans, some shallow promises and they ignored common sense. America lost this election cycle and we may not get a second chance.
