I can’t spend ten minutes in front of the television without seeing an Obama ad.  The theme is always the same; we need change. As a matter of fact, change is the central theme of the Obama campaign.

Research done by National Journal looked at the voting records of Senators over the past 27 years.  Guess who was the most liberal Senator in 2007?  If you guessed Barack Obama, you would be right.  If you have the most liberal voting record in the U.S. Senate, how on earth can you represent all of the people?  Obama’s ad’s tout the perception that he will be a President of all of the people.  If you are nowhere near centrist, how can you represent a majority of Americans?

The change theme is just as disconcerting.  Change is the mantra of progressives. Progressives make up the majority of those on the extreme left. The view of progressives is that America’s past, and the documents the founders authored, are meaningless. Only when America changes into their image of what a great country should be, will they be satisfied.  What America has accomplished in the past, what Americans have died for in the past and what represents our collective values has little value to progressives. They do not understand history. Barack Obama is their candidate.

Americans are fooled by the advertising coming from the Clinton and Obama campaigns.  It reminds me of what you are taught as a professional presenter. The concept goes like this; tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them, and then tell them what you told them.  This method produces an approach that makes for a successful presentation.

Consider the commercials that are running across the country by the Obama and Clinton campaigns.  Clinton’s commercial starts off by stating that ‘these are hard times.’   The commercial then goes through a litany of reasons why Americans everywhere are suffering.  The approach is buttressed by the media, who is singing the same song.  I have had conversations with several people lately who have echoed this same sediment. But these are not the facts.

Obama’s claim that he will represent all of the people is in the same vain.  It will be accepted at face value by countless millions of Americans who will not have reason to question it.  The main stream media will not bring the National Journal study to public attention and explain it’s significance. So Obama and his handlers go on their way counting on the ignorance of millions of voters who will buy this claim hook, line and sinker.

This approach by Democrats is not new.  They have to convince Americans that times are terrible in order to get elected. The problem is that most Americans have already been convinced by the major networks and daily newspapers that times are terrible. The message coming from the Democratic campaigns fits perfectly then with the perceptions of millions. Never mind if economic data says something entirely different.

Voting for a presidential candidate who’s sole objective is to fool you, to lie to you and to dupe you is not a good idea.  While the media spends countless hours casting suspicion on Republicans, the Republicans are only discussing real issues.  They look back with admiration to the brilliance of the founding fathers.

America is a country that people from all over the world flock too.  There is a reason for that.  America really is the greatest country on earth. We are a country that has helped countless millions in every corner of the world out of dire situations. With a candidate like Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, leading an army of radicals who condemn America’s past, there can only exist a dire future for America if they ever sit in the Oval Office.
