Letter to NY Sun.  This is in regard to the poster used at the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco where an offensive re-creation of the Last Supper painting is being used to mock Christians.  It’s just the latest attack on Christians and Christian values.

San Francisco is a beautiful city architecturally, but it is a cesspool behind its many closed doors.  It is one of the pillars of the anti-Christian movement.  This is where the crowd that preaches tolerance shows no tolerance.

Here is the letter:

The number of Christian bashing displays is increasing every year and the people who preach tolerance and diversity are the worst offenders.  The gross depictions of Christ in the University of Oregon newspaper were repeated last May again.  No one in the school’s faculty objected.  Students in Colorado just walked out of class because they want the word God stripped from the Pledge.

We are told by those on the left that we are to have tolerance for all groups in this country, but predictably, Christians are excluded from their list.  It is the ultimate in hypocrisy.  Any real depiction of Christ or the Last Supper is sacred to Christians.  Would we create a poster of a gay man having his brains blown out by a gun pressed against his head?  That would be offensive to the gay community and most Americans. Why then do we tolerate blatant attempts to offend another sub-population?  What’s wrong is wrong.

America is moving in the wrong direction.  A country created under Christian principles, moral precepts and ethics cannot stand long when there are frequent attempts to erase history.  No young person actually understands the true meaning of separation of church and state as Jefferson stated it in a letter to the Baptist church.  There was never anything in the Constitution or Bill of Rights that speaks to removing religion from American society.

You cannot practice bigotry against Christians and then call bigotry wrong.  Either it’s always wrong or it’s never wrong.
