Do I need more proof of my assertions about the anti-Christian agenda coming from the fronts of American classrooms? In Boulder Colorado students at Boulder High School walked out of class because they didn’t want to hear the phrase, ‘one nation, under God.”
The president of the Student Worker Club (read that socialist workers party) said that listening to the phrase in the Pledge of Allegiance was akin to “religious oppression.” She went on to say that they would prefer to add allegiance to diversity instead. I guess diversity doesn’t include groups they can’t tolerate, like maybe; Christians. The worker club version of the Pledge also leaves out the words; United States of America. What a surprise. They have been taught to hate Christians and hate America; go figure.
Folks, this is only the beginning. The anti-Christian rhetoric that has been a part of the school day in classrooms around America will prevail to the point where American Christians will be oppressed and prosecuted just as they are in China. The name of the student’s club is no coincidence. If it sounds like communism, it’s because it is.
A recent nationwide poll of teens found that nearly 50% did not believe in God. Where did that come from? 92% of their grandparents believe in God. What could cause such a precipitous drop in the belief in a Creator? It is partly a result of popular culture and largely a result of atheist teachers.
How does this benefit the future of the United States? You’ll pardon the reciprocal question, because I know the answer; it doesn’t. There is nothing to be gained when a generation decides to walk away from the source of its country’s morals and ethics. There is no benefit to turning away from the one Supreme Being who can provide comfort when nothing else will. There is nothing to be advanced when a ‘progressive’ generation believes that nothing in the past is of value and everything that made America great must be changed.
Many of these young people consider themselves anarchists. They have been taught that rebellion is good but that the fruits of America’s original rebellion are worthless. They have been taught that there is no difference between the homosexual lifestyle and the heterosexual lifestyle and that they are equal choices. Other countries and societies who have adopted these norms have spun out of control and crashed and burned.
The principal of Boulder High School told a local newspaper that he is proud of the students standing up for their beliefs. Is it any wonder why public education is leading young people away from the core beliefs that established this country?
Apparently, the students with the workers club will repeat their walk out every Thursday. Apparently also, there will be no discipline for disrupting classes and violating school policy. Why should there be? After all, they’re just doing what they have been taught.
