So, its a broken fish
So, yeah………………it’s a Christian fish………and…..?
We have had this Christian fish symbol on the back of our car for a couple of years. Recently, when our car was in a shopping center parking lot, someone broke off a part of the symbol. You might think that this small act of vandalism is meaningless; I don’t.
Mary Winkler, who murdered her Christian pastor husband will be sentenced to serve 60 days in jail. She gets credit for the 143 days she has spent in jail waiting for, and during the trial. She committed murder and was sentenced to 60 days in jail.
Mary Winkler shot her husband in the back with a shotgun as he lay in bed. Ms. Winkler was also involved in a criminal enterprise known as check-kiting. The judge who presided over her trial, Judge Weber McCraw, no doubt has a reason for the unbelievably light sentence.
As you read this, you must wonder why I make the jump from minor vandalism to the murder of a preacher in Selmer Tennessee? There is a common thread.
Christianity is under attack in America. In every form, every medium, every forum and every community, Christians are the target of those who are hateful and bigoted. Mary Winkler’s crime resulted in one of the lightest sentences for murder in America; it’s no coincidence. The judge in Mary Winkler’s trail is like so many others who wear the robe today; liberal and left leaning. It is the far left in America who hate Christians as much as the terrorists do.
In China, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Iran, India, Cuba, Laos and several other countries, thousands of Christians are imprisoned and murdered every year. They are killed for their faith and nothing else. Their killers are most often Muslim or Hindu. The killings receive little mention in the secular press.
From the website, PrisonerAlert ……..’This year an estimated 160,000 believers will die at the hands of their oppressors and over 200 million will be persecuted, arrested, tortured, beaten or jailed. In many nations it is illegal to own a Bible, share your faith, change your faith or allow children under 18 to attend a religious service.’
If the far left in America has their way, the Christian religion and its followers will be snuffed out in the years to come. Desecration of Christian religious symbols, the burning of churches and anti-Christian hate speech happen every day in the U.S. Please hear what I said; these acts happen every day.
When a cartoon of Muhammad appeared in a Scandinavian newspaper, it caused a worldwide uproar. Hundreds were injured, dozens of Christians were killed and there was property damage and mass protests in several countries. Last year, when the University of Oregon student newspaper printed demeaning, hateful depictions of Jesus Christ, there was no backlash. The university’s president gave the paper his blessing. No one outside of the Christian community even whispered in protest.
Prayer has been removed from American schools. If a person is a Christian, and they express their belief in the heterosexual lifestyle as the healthiest lifestyle, they are labeled a hate-monger and homophobe. Political correctness and lawsuits by the ACLU and other left wing groups have taken away all American Christians freedom of speech.
Additional dozens of lawsuits have removed any symbols of the Christian faith from the public square. Revisionist history in every school textbook in America disguises the fact that nearly all the framers of the Constitution were evangelical Christians.
Left wing groups have sanitized the true meaning of the first amendment and created a movement believing that the founders wanted separation of church and state. All school age children in America have a propagandized version of the government’s relationship to religion (read this Christianity).
One day recently, a Christian hating liberal was wandering through a shopping center parking lot and saw a symbol that he or she hated. They broke off part of the symbol that would come off. Their hatred will be acted out in other ways in the coming years. One day a Christian hating liberal judge saw fit to reward the killer of a Christian minister with an unexplainable sentence. Just another day in America.
