In a piece by the left-wing New York Times, recent poll results indicated that ‘young Americans are leaning left.’   The ‘poll’ was conducted by the NY Times, CBS News and MTV.  What a surprise that they should come to this conclusion!

My own research shows conclusively that the brainwashing that occurs every day in public school classrooms has resulted in a left-wing mindset that is indelibly planted in the minds of young people throughout the country.  Any wonder then, that the NYT/MTV poll would come to such a conclusion?  I’m sure it is accurate.  The outcome is part of a liberal experiment that combines repetition, brainwashing techniques and ill conceived logic with the minds of our school aged children.

Not only is the resulting liberal mindset applicable to political party favorites, but also to social issues.  When viewing the poll results, one is struck by how utterly devoid the young participants are of factual information.  Despite the current high employment figures and robust economy, fully 70% of respondents said the country was on the wrong track.  Not surprising, knowing the types of stories reported on web news services and papers like the NY Times.

As you might expect from a poll conducted by the NY Times, the majority of respondents said they planned to vote for a Democrat in the 2008 elections.  Again, as we have seen in several school systems lately, the constant indoctrination into the greatness of Democrats and the loathe deserving Republicans will yield results that liberals expect.  With cell phone video exposing some of the liberal indoctrinators at the heads of classrooms, we see the tip of the iceberg.

The poll found that the majority of those 17 to 29 year olds who know who they favor for our next president selected Barack Obama.  If the poll takers had been more centrist, maybe they would have asked respondents what accomplishments they were most impressed with in Mr. Obama’s short career in politics.  The deer in the headlights reaction may have caused the respondents to pause and think for a minute…………..but why would the NY Times risk that?

As one might expect, the Times took every opportunity in revealing their poll results to point out the low job approval rating the President has, the large number of respondents who feel that the Democratic Party’s morals most match their own (is this a joke?) and that they would not vote for a Mormon.  (is that because Mormons have real morals?)

In the article, a 21 year old woman is interviewed.  She is a Democrat, of course, and she laments how the Republican Party only courts older voters while the Democratic Party ‘caters’ to young voters.  Again, the opportunity was purposefully missed to ask a follow-up question.  How has the Democratic Party catered to you?  Or better, what has the Democratic Party actually done for you?  Or, name one thing the Republican Party has done to alienate you?  Again, the deer in the headlights reaction would result, which is what happens when a brainwashed person is faced with a centrist question.

We are reminded daily of the very real bias in media.  A recent poll of journalists found that by a 9 to 1 margin, the majority contributed to the Democratic Party.  This was where their allegiance was.  While Democrats in congress push the ‘Fairness Doctrine’ in an effort to deny first amendment rights to conservative talk radio, they conveniently ignore the overwhelming indoctrination occurring because of the bias in 95% of media outlets.

We should view the NY Times poll as proof that left-wing propaganda is working.  Anyone who is in a public school classroom who hears a daily dose of liberal viewpoint and then turns on a TV or opens a newspaper, is bound to come to one conclusion.  They can’t think out of the box because the box engulfs them.  We don’t need a poll to know that.
