Comparing Rumsfeld to Hitler- it feeds the frenzy

Much is being said amongst conservatives about daytime talk show host Joy Behar’s comparison of Hitler and former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.  There is little condemnation in the press, and this will all go away within a week.

Liberals like Behar and fellow ‘The View’ hostess Rosie O’Donnell are like teflon when it comes to suffering any real downside to inflammatory remarks they make about conservatives or Republicans.  The press, quite frankly, just doesn’t care.  As a matter of fact, they applaud such remarks because it continues to feed the frenzy of distrust and suspicion of Republicans and conservatives.  The rationale is that if this momentum can be carried on through 2008, a Democrat will most surely occupy the Oval Office.

One might refer to Ms. Behar and Ms. O’ Donnell as Democratic operatives.  Their remarks are purposeful and calculated.  The only reaction to their absurd allegations and statements will be greater ratings numbers for ‘The View.’  They will have accomplished two objectives as a result of their rants.

As proof that the two hosts have no fear of repercussion, witness Behar’s comments two days later, when she suggested that Republicans engaged in a covert operation to cause Democratic Sen. Tim Johnson’s brain hemorrhage.  Republicans, who have said much less, have been thrown out of office, and while Behar is a comedian (sic) and not a politician, her public comments should pose some sense of responsibility.  Certainly comedian Michael Richards learned that.  Comedians should not be exempt from some degree of responsibility by virtue of profession.   Recent history has shown that if such comments malign the right, then they get a pass every time.

Daytime talk shows are rife with left-wing opinion and propaganda.  I would challenge anyone to present an example of a day time talk show that included one positive comment about the Bush administration.

While ‘The View’ hosted Democratic presidential hopeful, Hillary Clinton today, they treated the visit like a promotion, and nary a critical word was spoken about Ms. Clinton.  There was, as to be expected, more discussion of the evils of the President, including statements that the President had decided to send additional troops to Iraq.  He has not said that conclusively.

The Democratic victory in November came as no surprise.  We, as a culture, are inundated with the kind of comments that Joy Bahar made.  We hear this kind of propaganda daily from news broadcasts, newspaper editorials and yes, talk show hosts. It is mind-numbing and it is intentional.  There is a concerted effort to take back the power that was lost in 1994, and no degree of absurdity or irresponsibility will be side-stepped in doing so.  Watch for more of the same.

You knew this was coming

Part of the Democratic Party leadership’s agenda, now that they are the power-brokers, is to impeach the President.  Yes, you can believe that this was just on the extreme left’s goal list, but I’m telling you that this was on the hidden agenda of of the leadership as well.   It is one of the items they like to deny to appear centrist, but the reality is that the Democrats want revenge for everything that has occurred since 1994, and this is a good start.

You might guess that John Conyers had recently re-introduced the idea, but the new legislation was introduced by non-other than cop basher Cynthia McKinney.   The Georgia Congresswoman, in her typical militant style, appeared to be introducing the legislation as a parting shot at the Bush administration.  In reality, there is a far greater chance that a deal was struck with the leadership in the Democratic Party to take the fall.  (or the second fall).  The payola would be anyone’s guess, but wait around since only time will tell.

McKinney, who is a member of what can only be described as the ‘kook left’ is up to her eyeballs in conspiracy theories, gangsta rap and blame-game semantics.  If someone like this introduces the topic, the leadership can smirk and espouse the questionable history of this particular member of congress.  But where’s the harm to the party since this member is on her way out anyway?  The issue of impeachment has been introduced again, with the new power structure ready to take the reigns.  Now the media machine will begin it’s part.

The goal here is not so much the purpose of introducing legislation as introducing a topic that must be kept alive.  This was a convenient way to do just that.  The Dems are quite sure that the American media will step in to fan the flames and burn down the house, or more appropriately, the current administration ergo the Republican Party.

My prediction is that a whole host of ‘hidden’ agenda items will be making their appearance one by one in the coming months.  Why waste time after all, 2008 is just around the corner.  Most of these issues will have been ascribed to the radical left, but there will be ways, much like the impeachment issue, that they will be conveniently put forth with nary a single question from a compliant media.  All along, the Democratic leadership will find ways to remain looking centrist.

If you question how the above shenanigans could possibly happen, just keep in mind that another Democratic member of congress was just re-elected with $90,000 of bribery money in his freezer. Watch and learn my friends, watch and learn..
