November 2006

I was really concerned when I saw the massive victory Democrats secured in the mid-term elections.  Wow, what a statement by the American public.  Upon further observation and reflection, I am no longer worried about it………..at least for its implications in 2008.

Democrats were elected by Americans in greater numbers because Americans saw political corruption in the Republican Party and a growing death toll in Iraq.  Democratic politicians ran as centrists, with a perceived connection to average, middle of the country Americans.  Those same Democrats represented themselves as having values and perspectives not unlike middle-America.  They lied.

Those now in charge have already been opening their offices and ears to the most extreme in our society.  The new Democratic leaders in the Senate and House are taking their marching orders, not from middle-America, but from the fringe groups whose agendas are extreme and distasteful.  American voters will have two years to realize the truth, and when they do, they will be mad as hell.  No one likes to be duped.

America’s problem at present is that the next two years will see laws passed and bills brought forward that benefit left-wing extremist groups and philosophies.  There will be a shift away from national security, and a shift towards more divisiveness.  An attempt will be made to impeach the President.  Amnesty will be granted to millions in this country illegally, and gay marriage will be put front and center as a middle-American value.  America will suffer.  Our security will be compromised.

In 2008, Americans will realize the folly of believing in a centrist Democratic Party.  By 2008, most middle-Americans will have had it with two years of left-wing politics and policies.  Most Americans will realize that their safety has been compromised.  Most Americans will realize that our position in the world has been compromised at the expense of making some Europeans like us more.  Americans will realize that a group of pompous elitists have taken over the Congress, the state legislatures and the state governorships, and that America is worse off for it.

Liberal Democrats are their own worst enemy.  They are so drawn by an extreme ideology, that they will allow this to implode their party and chances to govern beyond the next two years.  In the process, they will leave the security of the United States in jeopardy.  Democrats were elected, but liberal thought will prevail in Washington and every state legislature for the next two years.

Two of Americas most left-wing extremist politicians
now run the American government. Is this good for
mainstream Americans?  America’s future looks dim.
