Lets see………..sit by the ocean or write a blog posting?  Sit by the ocean or write a blog posting?  Sit by the ocean and watch the waves roll in, the seagulls fly by and the sun set on the water……….or write an article for this blog? 

I sat by the ocean, my laptop nowhere in sight.  I pondered the serenity of it all.  I occasionally reflected on politics, social issues and ideology, and just as quickly, switched my thoughts to swaying palm trees, light breezes and boogie boards in the surf. 

The world did not stop dealing with dictators, e-mail perverts and ideologues…………….but I did. 

Early morning coffee, fruit and pastries while looking out my window at the shimmering water, listening to the waves rolling in and periodically closing my eyes and really relaxing.   This is the stuff that dreams are made of. 

Why return to the dog eat dog world of blogging, political menagerie, extremist opponents and personal ridicule; why indeed?

Because its real.
