The evidence is overwhelming that the extreme left in this country marches in lock step, with no dissention. Ideological doctrine with no free thought. While you will hear well known conservative radio show hosts and conservative writers and bloggers show their disagreement with the administration, a dissenting liberal is shouted down by others in the left wing.
Do you think that a Democratic administration would have handled Katrina any better? I seriously doubt it. Local Democratic leadership at the state and municipal levels were pitiful in their response.
The Bush administration has been confronted with two of the worst disasters in U.S. history. This is not an enviable position for any President.
Bill Clinton would have been preoccupied with his philandering when Katrina hit, if he were President, and the response would have been delayed. Jimmy Carter would have been off meeting with some third-world dictator, and would have taken months like he did with our hostages in Iran.
You think you could have produced better? You can’t even imagine the magnitude of these disasters. The President, if you don’t know, doesn’t micro-manage every department and agency of government. No President does, nor could they.
Liberals are so wrapped up in their hate of the President, conservatives, Christians and anyone with core beliefs, convictions or ‘normal’ day to day lives, that they ignore their duty to come up with new, workable alternative ideas. They only know how to spew out hatred, while accusing Republicans of the same behavior.
Katrina was a disaster. The response by officials in New Orleans and at the state capital was sorely lacking. The federal response was delayed, although the Coast Guard was there immediately. Many thousands were relocated, and many thousands have decided that they have no reason to return to New Orleans.
President Bush has to deal with the armies of terrorists who have tried, and try daily, to kill Americans on American soil. He has had to deal with multiple hurricanes, a hostile opposing party, urban myths about his administration that have no factual basis, a hostile press corps and dictators with nuclear ambitions.
No Democratic leader could do better faced with the same set of circumstances and still provide tax relief to the middle class and poor, increase school test scores, pass legislation that allows Americans to save more, enhance Medicare and increase AID’s funding to Africa.
You can write all the hateful comments you want about what I have to say, but you are only fooling yourselves.
Liberals talk about and write about hundreds of conspiracy theories, oil profits theories and corruption theories, but they offer nothing better, and walk in lock step like Hitler’s storm troopers. That’s why liberal blogs never include links to the opposing viewpoint.
Face it…….you offer the country nothing better. Your lack of better solutions is nowhere to be found. At the end of the day, all you have is your hatred, four letter words and false accusations. Liberals have filled cyberspace with more falsehoods and accusations than all other words combined. The top liberal blogs offer only the same tired, recycled stories, without merit or factual basis. The theory about the government bringing down the twin towers was only the latest myth to be disproved.
In November, and again in 2008, the onslaught of liberal myths and media outlets may give power back to the left. We should record the record low unemployment, record low tax rates, record high home ownership, record high test scores in schools and the prevention of additional terrorist attacks. We will use these facts as proof that the liberal approach to taxing everything, increasing the welfare state and trying to negotiate with terrorists doesn’t work. Unfortunately, it will be too late for the country then.
