Start a rally, register a Democrat
There is much more to the pro-illegal immigration rallies held around the country in recent weeks than one might realize. It is not coincidental that the rallies have been funded by major national and international union groups. These unions have strong political connections. But there is an insidious side that has not yet been discovered, and that side of the rallies shows the tactics and the strategy of those who would stoop to anything.
While watching a local news broadcast a few days ago, I was astounded, as usual to see the media’s misreporting of a story demonizing the President. They had reported that the Vermont legislature had voted overwhelmingly to impeach the President. They were sending their message to the U.S. Congress directly. The story said that Vermont joined four other state’s legislatures in passing the measure for impeachment.
What the story did not report, was that it was the local democratic state committee, a far cry from the whole state legislature, that called for impeachment. In reality, this was the fifth democratic party committee calling for impeachment proceedings. A gullible public, uninformed of the truth, will eat this type of partisan misinformation up.
This reminder of the close relationship between the main stream media and the democratic party triggered a realization that I’m sure has gone unnoticed before now.
At the multitude of aforementioned rallies around the country, there is a common denominator besides temporary taco stands and the distribution of American flags. There is a busy booth set up at each event registering voters. Those citizens in the crowds who support the cause can register and those illegals with counterfeited documents can register. And all are registering democrat.
The democratic party is working their plan. It only takes the local democratic state committees to vote for impeachment proceedings to allow their PR wing in the local and national media to report a growing impeachment sentiment, and it only takes a few dozen or more voter registration booths at immigration rallies to swell the number of democratic registered voters.
Grow the voter rolls and continue to create an anti-President Bush sentiment in the press. Ironically, this President has been very pro-Hispanic, but the union influence will trump that every time.
This November is clearly in the sights of the democratic leadership and they are willing to do whatever it takes, ethical or not, to add seats. This will allow them to carry out their impeachment strategy and continue their ‘Republican culture of corruption’ talking points. They will organize more rallies with the intention of registering more democratic voters ahead of November and 2008.
And all the while, we thought that the rallies across the country were just about open borders.
