It’s good to write about a topic, express an opinion, and then have someone come along and add further credibility to my view.  Such was the case in the last several days with high school teacher Jay Bennish, who teaches geography and social studies at Overland High School in Aurora Colorado.

A student of Mr. Bennish’s happened to be in the habit of recording class lectures for later test study.  The teacher, Mr. Bennish, is another example of the extreme left fanatics who regularly manipulate the young minds of students across America.  I wrote on this topic on January 9th of this year in a posting titled;‘Brainwashing in America in our children’s classrooms.’ Mr. Bennish regularly compared President Bush to Hitler, and denounced every policy of the United States, characterizing America as the true terrorist state.  Despite the fact that Mr. Bennish was the subject of complaints a few years ago for the same propagandizing, he remained, and remains a teacher at the high school. On the other hand, the student that recorded Mr. Bennish’s rant, Sean Allen, will likely have to transfer to another high school.  The reason; multiple threats of physical violence.

As with the case in Bennington Vermont with high school English and social studies teacher, Bret Chenkin, the visceral hatred towards the President is the basis for all comments the teacher makes before the class.  Current events and American history are taught through the slanted opinion of the leftist, and the result is a classroom of manipulated minds, soaking up propaganda, and assuming they are learning the truth.    The students then become puppets of the teacher.  Proof of this was the protest by 150 students when the school board decided to put Mr. Bennish on administrative leave.  Of course this is only cosmetic and the Hansen twin want-to-be will be back in the classroom before you can say; “America is the evil empire.”

What will become of Mr. Bennish.  I can predict the outcome with complete confidence.  He might get a letter of reprimand dropped in his employee file.  More likely, he will be given every opportunity to pollute young minds in the same school for the next twenty years.
