Extremist Ideologues-0 Truth-1
It was Gomer Pyle, in the old ‘60’s TV show Gomer Pyle-USMC, who used to exclaim; “surprise, surprise, surprise!â€Â For many, a U.S. Supreme Court decision on February 1st may have elicited this same reaction. It was the first decision for new Associate Justice Samuel Alito. Justice Alito voted to refuse the State of Missouri permission to execute a death row inmate. He did not vote with the three conservative Justices. This was a surprise, because this is what a number of extreme special interest groups told us he would do. Shazam
Special interest groups spent in excess of $30 million dollars to defeat Judge Alito’s nomination. They misrepresented several of his past decisions, confident that those who are spoon-fed this type of stream of misinformation, would buy anything they stated. Alas, reality prevails. While the true ideologues accused the judge of being one, they must now eat crow. The judge makes decisions based on the Constitution and accepted law. If his first decision is any indication, the judge’s supporters were right, his detractors were wrong, as expected. He may be much like the Justice he replaced.
While the modern democratic party continues to get their marching orders from extremists bent on mounting a daily hate-fest/smear campaign against the President, they also continue to make bad decisions. Kerry starts a filibuster to scrap Judge Alito in order to appease the radicals at organizations like ‘people for the American way.’  In the process, he comes off looking like an idiot, and a cloture vote ends his foolishness. Today and tomorrow, Justice Alito will prove that he stands above all the nonsense that the real ideologues engage in.            Â

ÂI talked about the influence of teachers in our schools
Apparently, a school kid in WEST WARWICK, R.I has written an essay threatening the President and executives at Coca-cola and Walmart. Sounds like a page out of the national democratic committee handbook. Not too far from Howard Dean’s state of Vermont. I wonder where this kid got the idea that Walmart is evil, that Coke executives are evil and that he should hate the President? Might it have been his teacher? The local newspaper? I guess all the kids in Rhode Island may be brainwashed with this stuff. Only difference is, this kid decided to put his ideas to paper, and called taking out the President part of his perfect day. The influence of the extreme left is found everywhere.
